Jamie Bergeron is an experienced leader in equity, inclusion and social justice practice with over 15 years of experience. Currently, Jamie serves clients across North and South America at Ernst & Young, a global professional services firm. In this role, she focuses on ERG strategy, LGBT+ strategy, inclusive leadership, equitable sponsorship, allyship practice and more.  She regularly consults on organization-wide social justice and equity transformation. Jamie is committed to supporting young people and community leaders in their efforts to be justice-oriented practitioners. As such, she provides training, facilitation and consultation to university groups, non-profit organizations, and small businesses in collaboration with other social justice partners. She holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from University at Buffalo and a B.A. from State University at New York in Spanish Literature and Language, where she became the first in her family to earn a college degree as part of the Ronald E. McNair Program, a nationally recognized TRIO program.

Jamie is a Certified Human Resource Professional with Society for Human Resource Professionals (SHRM-CP) and was recently honored by Business Equality Magazine as a 2022 40 Under 40 LGBT+ Honoree. In addition to being a Pride in Our Workplace Board member, Jamie serves on the Board for Trans Can Work – a transgender workforce development and innovation organization, as a Board Advisor for COLAGE – the only organization dedicated to the empowerment of youth in LGBTQ+ families, and as the Co-Chair of GLAD’s Spirit of Justice Awards – supporting the legislative fight for LGBTQ+ legal and lived equality.  She currently lives and works between Boston, MA and Buffalo, NY.
