Tony Martin

Tony Martin (he/him) is an enthusiastic professional with a rich background in various sectors including travel, technology, and higher education. His professional expertise lies in public speaking, diversity & inclusion (D&I), program development, leadership, and student development.

Currently, Tony serves as the Associate Director of Equity, Diversity + Inclusion at TripAdvisor Group, where he play a key role in shaping and implementing the global ED+I strategy and operations.

Before stepping into this role, Tony dedicated 11 years to the field of student affairs in higher education at Bentley University. Responsibilities ranged from crisis intervention, providing support to students and employees, to organizing programming and events. A significant part of the role also involved leading ED+I initiatives, including acting as the lead facilitator for the University’s faculty and staff Diversity retreats and spearheading student ED+I learning and development programs.

Tony’s passion lies in fostering inclusive environments that enable people to express themselves freely and excel. He strongly believes in the transformative power of human connections and the necessity of nurturing spaces that promote these bonds. Outside of work, Tony is an extroverted adventurer who loves to travel, meet new people, spend time with his dog, and discover the beauty of the world.

Tony holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with a focus on College Student Development from James Madison University. He is proud of his educational journey and how it has shaped his professional path.
